About Us
Straight Up Studios (SUS), founded by Emmy Award-winning producer Stephen Zelenka, is a full-service production company headquartered in Venice, California, with offices in London. SUS produces film, television, documentaries, live music concerts, festivals, events, native advertising, and branded media content.
With deep expertise across production, post-production, and delivery, SUS creates compelling experiential content spanning a broad range of creative styles, formats, and technologies — from state-of-the-art equipment to emerging platforms.
The company's portfolio extends beyond production into a proprietary interactive multi-channel video streaming platform, Cascade, and an immersive location-based entertainment venture, Real Machine. SUS also operates an entertainment and technology financing arm, alongside global sales and distribution services — having sold and licensed content worldwide to digital platforms, linear television networks, in-cinema events, and theatrical releases.
